OptiPacer optimizes your budget allocation to ensure your campaigns perform efficiently within your predefined targets. This tool helps you take control of your budgets with ease and precision.

How to Enable OptiPacer

Step-by-Step Guide

Access Your Budget:

• Navigate to the Budgets dashboard in your EDEE account.

Enable OptiPacer:

• Locate the Budget you want to optimize or create a new Budget.
• Click on the Automation tab in the budget settings.
• Toggle the OptiPacer switch to enable the feature.
• A confirmation modal will appear with details and terms. Read and accept the terms to proceed.

Set Performance Targets:

• Define your performance metric that OptiPacer will use to adjust budgets.
• You can choose to focus on maximising Sales Value, Conversions, Clicks or Impressions, in addition to the budget's spend target.
• These settings can be adjusted in the Performance metric section.

Access Permissions:

Only users with write access to the budget (Super Company Admin, Admin, Manager) can enable or make changes to the OptiPacer settings.

Understanding OptiPacer

Budget Level Adjustments

OptiPacer works at the budget level to ensure spend is allocated to the best performing campaigns. It can be used alongside bid strategies. 

OptiPacer will:

• Analyze campaign data from the last 30 and 7 days.
• Adjust budgets based on performance metrics, making campaign daily budget increases or decreases as required to hit the EDEE budget's spend target and optimize for your chosen Performance metric.
• Ensure budget increases are feasible through capacity checks.

Performance Analysis and Ranking

• OptiPacer ranks campaigns within a budget based on their performance.
• It adjusts budgets by increasing the spend on top-performing campaigns and decreasing it for lower-performing ones.
• Daily summaries and logs will keep you informed of all adjustments.

Notifications and Logs

OptiPacer provides comprehensive notifications and logs:

• Daily email and in-app summaries of OptiPacer activities.
• Detailed change logs documenting all adjustments. You can access these in the Change History tab in EDEE.
• Email and in-app notifications if a budget is under pacing but unable to spend more efficiently.

Exclusions

Certain campaign types are excluded from using OptiPacer:

• Meta Ads campaigns with Lifetime budgets.
• Meta Ads campaigns with the Reservation buying type.
• Any campaigns with API limitations regarding budget changes.
