Budget pacing

Budget pacing is calculated by comparing the percentage of spend out of the total budget amount with the percentage of time elapsed out of the budget cycle's duration. When these match, an EDEE Budget's pacing will be 100% meaning it is right on target!

Pacing above 100% means the Budget is overspending and pacing below 100% means the budget is underspending.

EDEE uses a traffic light system when displaying your budget pacing figures:

Green - if your spend is pacing within 10% (over or under) your target spend for this moment in the budget cycle

Orange - if your spend is pacing between 10 - 20% (over or under) your target spend for this moment in the budget cycle

Red  - if your spend is pacing at more than 20% (over or under) your target spend for this moment in the budget cycle
